Mercedes KC tournament
Knights of Columbus baseball tournament gets started today in Mercedes. At 11:00, it's Harlingen South vs Santa Rosa which is followed by San Benito vs Marine Military Academy at 1:00 p.m. Then it's La Feria vs Mercedes at 3:00 p.m. Last game today is Falfurrias vs Brownsville St. Joe at 5:00 p.m. I will try to keep you informed on the results.

Harlingen South defeated Santa Rosa, San Benito defeated MMA, and La Feria beat Mercedes, 5-0.

Damn I miss baseball especially this tourney played at our own backyard. How I wish I could suit up again..

Mercedes-5 and Brownsville St. Joseph-4. Tigers will play Santa Rosa tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. for consolation championship. La Feria vs Fal at 3:00 and Harlingen So. vs San Benito at 5:00 pm. Winners face each other in championship game tomorrow at approx. 4:00 p.m.

Mercedes beat Santa Rosa 6-4 for the consolation championship earlier. Congrats to San Benito on winning the tournament championship.
